In some Chinese astrology calenders (in internet and in print) people born in the year 1983 are considered to have the Dog symbol and some Chinese astrology calenders people born in the year 1983 are considered to have the Pig symbol.
Which one is originally correct?

1983 = Pig; I think there’s a traditional and more modern calendar that don’t agree.
1983 is pig. but if someone was born in 1983 before as i remember 7th february he/she is dog. if she/he was born after 7th february than pig.
your a pig but i think you have to give out your month and day, the turning point is right around the begining of the year and we can’t determine that until then.
