Question by $ _Mr. $ or!@n0_$ : Jailbroken ipod with green poison?
I jailbroke my ipod touch 3rd generation 4.2.1 with green poison. It was successful and all and i got cydia from the uploader but when i touch on the cydia icon it says “Initializing Filesystem” and in the bottom it says cydia will exit when complete. And then it exits out of it. And it does it everytime i touch on the cydia icon. What can I do to use it?? Please help!!

Well, what you can try is: Restore you’r iPod Touch, update it to 4.2.1, install with Green Poison, and see what happening!

Hi. Ok so I have had a few failed jailbreak attempts. My iPads ios is 4.2.1 so I downloaded that firmware. Then I downloaded redsnow 09rc9 or something like that. I updated iTunes and let my iPad sync. The first time I did it I thought it would work cuz it went to a black screen. Now it says firmware not recognized.

Could someone please give me the best possible way to do this and hopefully some working links for all the downloads. Thank you very much!
