Question by : Upgrading iPad 1 from 4.2.1 to iOS5?
I have a jail broken iPad 1 running 4.2.1, I do not need to ‘unjailbreak’ before upgrading to iOS 5, correct? I realize I will lose my apps and will have to re-jailbreak after the upgrade.

Yes, there is no need to un jailbreak, updating to iOS 5 will be just fine. So far there is tether jailbreak for iOS 5, if need more info about the JB Process check this site http://ipadworld.org

I’ve been waiting for untethered jailbreak for couple of months now for my iTouch 4g… I’ve heard that it was going to be available once the iPhone was out for Verizon, and I have yet to see one… Does anyone have a reliable source about the jailbreak news?

my mc ipod is untethered jailbroke
its 4.1 (forgot the website i got firmware from but you need 2nd gen 4.1 even if yours is 3rd or 4th gen it HAS to be 2nd gen 4.1 firmware)

Question by Milk Bandit: Can I use the V-Ram from my integrated graphics in conjuction with my dedicated graphics card V-Ram?
I have a AS Rock nVidia 8200 motherboard with integrated graphics which has 1024 MB of dedicated V-Ram. I have recently got hold of a ASUS 9800 GTX+ 512MB Dark Knight graphics card and I have t working with my motherboard’s graphics with hybrid power (using graphics card for games and switching to integrated for normal applications). I was wondering (or rather more hoping) that I can make the graphics card use the nVidia 8200 integrated graphics dedicated V-Ram pushing my total V-Ram up to 1536MB.

PC Specifications:

AS Rock K10N78 nVidia 8200
AMD Phenom X4 9950+
8 GB DDR2 Samsung Ram
ASUS GeForce 9800 GTX+ Dark Knight

Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP2 64 Bit and Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64 Bit (I have 2 HDD’s one with Vista and one with XP, I prefer XP but have to switch to Vista to play GTA4)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
512 MB Isnt barely enough to run GTA4. Mycard will run GTA4 at 1920 x 1080 Resolution, all details at high or very high except texture detail which is set at medium. View distance 40 Detail Distance 45 Vehicle Density 100 Shadow Count 5. And I run at average 46.38 FPS. Im not worried about my GTA4 Game play. Im very happy with my computer. But I hate knowing that 1 GB or Vram on the nVidia board is put to waste especially if I buy more powerful games in future.

Question by Hi.: How do I stop Windows from auto-installing a driver for my tablet?
I just got a new Bamboo (Wacom) tablet. Whenever I start my computer up, it auto-installs a mouse driver for it that doesn’t allow for pressure sensitivity. I’ve downloaded and installed the working driver and set my device installation settings to “Let me choose what to do – Never install driver software from Windows Update,” and yet it still automatically replaces the working driver with the nonworking one.

I’m running Windows 7.

Editing your host file would possibly change that. Find out what company your mouse driver is from, and then add the web-address of that company to your host file, if you don’t know how to edit your host file, reply back and I will help you out with that.

Question by Brandon: How to change Windows XP tablet PC from simp. Chinese to English?
My main computer is currently broken and so I have a temporary laptop to use. The problem is that it runs on Windows XP Tablet in simplied Chinese. I was wondering what I would need to convert it to english? I did some web browsing and I usually read that I need an MUI pack but it also says the MUI pack is to convert the ENGLISH version of Windows to other languages, not the other way around.

To select the language you wish to run XP in, go to Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options, then select the Languages tab.

From there you can make changes to the system languages. Hopefully English is loaded onto the system for you by default.
